Description:This is an advanced course in digital image manipulation. This course focuses on creating original imagery and effective solutions to projects. Additional topics include workflow, methodologies, and techniques needed to resolve industry level design issues, and production requirements, so that you can potentially put the work in your portfolio. The homeworks are comprised of written and graphic assignments. Students are encouraged to use their own source photography. Now is the time to get out your digital camera and use your own photos as much as possible. UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO:

  • Perform a variety of masking techniques for seamless image compositing.
  • Develop an advanced proficiency with Photoshop tools.
  • Demonstrate an excellent proficiency in creating digital images and implementing creative approaches to image development.
  • Develop artistic/creative approaches to image development.
  • Save images for web/DVD/Cell phones
  • Create animations for Web/DVD/Videos
